partners to innovate (p2-i) is an international consulting company helping customers with digital transformation and business improvement. We work across Europe, with multiple legal entities in different European countries, and combine our industry and technology knowledge with a practical, hands-on way of working.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Consulting Operations & Finance Director to strengthen our finance and consulting operations.
The role
In this role you will work closely with our Leadership Team and have a clear overview of how the business is performing.
We are looking for someone who understands the numbers but also understands what is behind them. Someone who can make sure our financial administration is correct and up to date, provide Leadership with the right insights and help us improve the way we work.
What you will do
- Make sure our financial administration is accurate, and all transactions, invoices, expenses and payments are correctly booked and reconciled.
- Manage customer invoicing and Accounts Receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Manage forecasts, budgets, P&L and cash-flow reporting.
- Monitor our key consulting numbers, including revenue, utilisation and project performance.
- Give Leadership a clear view of performance, risks and opportunities.
- Coordinate shareholder and external financial reporting.
- Work with our accountants, tax advisors, auditors and other external partners.
- Improve our finance and consulting operations processes and controls.
- Make sure we meet the relevant financial and legal requirements.
What we are looking for
You have senior experience in finance and/or consulting operations, preferably in consulting or professional services.
You understand P&L, cash flow, forecasting, invoicing and Accounts Receivable and are comfortable working directly in financial systems.
Most importantly, you are hands-on, practical and independent. You can work with Leadership on the bigger picture, but you are also happy to get into the details and make sure things get done.
A degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or similar is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
